Lumpkin Literacy sponsors several fundraising events during the year, from the Adult Spelling Bee to the no-need-to-show-up NOT AT ALL BALL. Family Read-In

The Lumpkin County Library and Lumpkin Literacy are excited to partner for a Family Read-In at YOUR library! This drop-in event is meant to encourage reading for kids of all ages.
Lumpkin Literacy has been supporting lifelong literacy programs in our county for 50 years. We currently provide free books to preschoolers by funding Dolly Parton's Imagination Library and offer free GED classes and testing fees for adult education. We are a non-profit 501c (3) corporation. Our mission is to increase adult and childhood literacy in Lumpkin County.​
